The Double Knee Pants are thoughtfully curated and derived from workwear styles of the past. These limited-edition pants have roots in American industry and are inspired by some of the most iconic designs in our archives. The tightly woven Hickory Stripe and sturdy Duck fabrication has been long trusted by American railroad workers for its unyielding strength. Reinforced with triple needle side seams for long-lasting durability, these sturdy pants also feature an authentic chap style double knee construction with openings at the bottoms that would allow for knee pads or the removal of debris. Utility comes standard with various pockets throughout the design, including dual front pockets, rear patch pockets and a multi-use double rule leg pocket. Most notably, an added watch pocket is a throwback to the time keeping needs of workers prior to the widespread availability of a wristwatch. This unique attention to detail highlights the history of function and purpose in these pants. The vintage inspired buttons include a cloverleaf design, the oldest button in the Dickies archives and a truly one-of-a-kind detail. Plus, the dark red bar tacks match the heritage burgundy and gold logo label to add a hint of color to the design.
